A hypnotic blend of deep house, tropical rhythm, and electronic music with a Bugalú flow, Saoko y Shingaling is Lester Rey's 10th and final EP before his debut album. Produced by Lester Rey in collaboration with MoonDoctoR, AfroQbano, and Gabacho, the EP Saoko y Shingaling gives this song a home to share its message: "Hay music que no es de aqua, ni de alla, and it's here to stay!" The EP includes Pena, Blanco Cafe, and I Like it Like That. Pena carries an overwhelming message taken by Puerto Rican Protest movements to uplift and by individuals looking for motivation to move beyond their circumstances. Blanco Cafe is an affirmation with anthem-like lyrics that honor the resilience and struggles of the Boricua diaspora. I Like It Like That is a vibrant, eclectic, indie take on a Latin classic blending bugalú’s infectious groove, salsa’s irresistible swing, and his own modern flair.
