About The Release
The album proves why Funky DL is a force to be reckoned with as far as his scope for creativity. Whilst many into Jazz Rap openly admit to not heavily appreciating Trap music, the beats on this album are beginning to turn heads and peak interest in the amalgamation of the two-styles. The project title is more than appropriate and applicable to the audio. Coated in sweet and sublime jazz melodies, the bass knocks, the snares snap, but the mood is smooth, mellow and euphonious. Let's hope future releases have DL once again... "Trapped in Jazz".
