About The Release

in sharing this record, i’m sharing a deep part of myself. i didn’t want to put out something superficial or packed up and pretty. i wanted to be as vulnerable about who i am and what i’ve been through as i could be. when i wrote these songs, i did not have this project in mind. but as i kept writing what was true and real in my life, everything fell together. i have been through hell and back in ways that many will never or just can’t understand. but many of you will know all too well. i hope this record reaches people in their lowest pits and can help bring them out. i hope it shines a light where there’s been so much darkness. and i hope healing is brought into every person who listens. whether it’s the uncomfortable healing that makes you face what you’re running from, or the kind that feels like a breath of fresh air because you are reminded you’re not alone; my hope is that it sticks with you in the way that other music hasn’t been able to.
