"That Boy Is Mine" can best be described as a combination between Nivea's "Don't Mess With My Man" and the classic "The Boy Is Mine" by Brandy + Monica with a Dancehall R&B twist. 

The song was inspired by a personal experience, which funny enough, helped make this creation process feel like comical relief. It's been a while since I've expressed myself in this way and I'm sure there are people out there who feel the same - whether you can say it or not. But if you can't I 'll say it for you.
