"Strangers" was written about a year ago, during a time when I was in a season of intense personal growth, wrestling with a lot on my mind and heart. The song explores the bittersweet journey of two people who once shared a deep connection but find themselves slowly drifting apart. It’s about that gradual, almost imperceptible shift, where day by day, little by little, you grow distant without even realizing it—until suddenly, you look up, and the person you once felt so close to feels like a complete stranger. "Strangers" captures the ache of love transforming, of shared memories fading, and the painful beauty of letting go as you step into a new chapter. It’s a reflection of that universal experience of watching a once-familiar bond dissolve, leaving you to grapple with how people who meant everything can end up feeling like strangers.
