A melodic testament to survival and transformation originally recorded by JJ’88 while serving a life sentence that began at age 15. Songs from the Hole was later reproduced using the vocals recorded in prison to accompany the Netflix Original Film of the same title, premiering August 13, 2025.  

The EP is a real-life hood-healing story—gritty and vulnerable—that can only be told by someone who lived it.
