The AU(African Union)is divide into six regions. North, South,East,West,Central, and the sixth being the  Diaspora, or Africans abroad. Being of African descent, I drew inspiration from that.

The title"Somewhere In The 6th Region" was chosen because, although I'm in the U.S, I didn't want to be specific. My perspective, thoughts, and feelings transcends theses boundaries. We feel the weight of the system regardless of where we came out of our Mother's womb.
