“Run” follows the path of a lone samurai traversing the dreamlike realms of the Bardo, caught between death and rebirth. As a spiritual continuation of the story begun in Hills, this video draws visual inspiration from the 1962 film Harakiri, blending minimalist composition with deep emotional undercurrents. The samurai, embodying honor and internal conflict, journeys through shifting landscapes of silence and memory. In the final act, he encounters a divine feminine deity—a representation of compassion and surrender. In a gesture of ultimate humility, he lays down his katana and dissolves into emptiness, symbolizing the release of ego and the embrace of impermanence. Run is more than a music video; it’s a meditation on identity, legacy, and the sacred beauty found in letting go.
