"my bad, I fell asleep" is my first offering of 2024 and features 12 audible journal entries from what has been several months of daily introspection and continuous journeying to the depths of my soul and back.

This project, and you being here to experience it with me, means the absolute world to me!

Following my last album "09.25.96 V," "my bad; I fell asleep" finds me back looking in the mirror at the ever-changing reflection that is me and the world I live in.

From the bleak acceptance of the human condition to the expanding vibrations of new love, and every epiphany in between, MBIFA has allowed me to be vulnerable with you in a way that I don't think I'd be able to otherwise.

I take pride in the diverse range of sounds and feelings that I was able to bring together in this project. It feels as expansive to me as life itself, and that's something that I am truly grateful for.

As a self-produced and self-engineered artist, this mixtape is also huge to me because of how far all of my skills have come. My years of hard work and daily learning has led me here to you and the fruits of my labor.
