Junoe (AKA Jono Fernandez) returns in 2025 with his long awaited debut album ‘Making New Mistakes’. After a brief hiatus from releasing music for the birth of his first child, Jono has crafted a body of work that represents a diary of his life over the past 3 years and is told through the character Junoe. A Juxtaposition of light and dark that takes centre stage once again to fuel a story of leaning into mistakes while they lead to growth and change.

Jono has once again teamed up with esteemed Australian comic book artist Tom Bonin to deliver the artwork for this single and the album. 

For this debut album ‘Making New Mistakes’ Junoe is on a journey through the universe, lost in his attempt to return home to earth. Junoe carries with him the conflicts of longing to return to his creators while being torn by their inherently flawed nature. Each of his stories along the way are entwined in the songs and their ideas through lyric, melody and emotion.
