About The Release

Marjé worked closely with Lehnen Brown to create these warm tales that are nothing short of whimsically-candid. They crafted this EP in Lehnen's bedroom in Oakland, Ca; surrounded by his plants and musical instruments. Each day Marjé got off of the Bart train, went into a nearby cafe for an iced latte, and walked the 20 minutes to her destination. The whole way she battled with the joy and excitement of the blossoming spring while also battling lingering imposter syndrome that followed her throughout winter. The juxtaposition of these feelings led to project that is, "hey, hi, hello."
