About
This mixtape was created to put the game on notice and let everyone know the level I’m rapping at these days! I put a lot of emphasis on creating great songs on the “Ground Level” album, so on this mixtape I was able to get back to what I love to do which is just penning some of the illest bars you can think of and going in the booth and losing my mind! Some of these beats I’ve wanted to do for a while, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity and you don’t really see rappers doing mixtapes that often now but in the era of hip hop I come from, the mixtape got you ready to hear the album so that’s what I wanted to provide for my fans and supporters, that old school, grind my way to the top feeling. While making this project, 3 year old Ramone “Red” Carter was shot and killed on the East Side of Buffalo NY, and this tragedy impacted the entire city, so I felt compelled to dedicate the work to him. I hope you enjoy the work and get ready for “Ground Level” in August 2024!
