So much goes into the production for an album. Studio time, paying for beats, mixing and mastering, and so much more. With that being said, Ive been on both sides of the coin being an artist and the consumer of art. I remember the feeling of knowing that my favorite artist was working on an album all year, and I couldn't wait until it dropped. I would be eager to spend my 17.99 or whatever they were charging just so that i can rip the plastic off read the booklet and listen to it front to back.
