About The Release
"Dope $hit" highlights the raw lyrical talent from the south with an east coast flow. Myself and fellow artist Smoke demonstrate our ability to master any beat, paying homage to real street survival. Produced by my late brother Tim Hatter, this track showcases that we have more to offer than just the southern sound. The production, rooted in east coast influences, allows us to show versatility and lyrical depth. The track is meant for the D-Boys who have seen the streets and made it through. "You say you seen bricks, but you was looking at apartment buildings, the only time you seen ounce is when you look at detergent." This line encapsulates the gritty reality we bring to the table. With this track, I wanted to prove I have more styles in my arsenal, and this is just one of the many ways I can deliver.
