Across the country, after over a decade of slumber, two massive broods of cicadas emerged from the dirt to take their place in the blue American skies. Like a butterfly, the cicada is hidden from sight before it transforms into it's true self. But the cicada--it spends most of its lifetime underground, biding its time before it enters the world. The butterfly comes in gracefully, flitting around, so elegant and beautiful. When the cicada finally emerges, it takes over the skies, screaming, and letting everyone know they are HERE, and they are going to make noise and enjoy themselves. Whether you like it or not.
