I wrote it during my time living in California, inspired by the ache of loving someone from a distance and the memories that linger when you're apart. Smooth, soulful R&B vocals float over a beat with a subtle hip-hop bounce, produced by Mike Cease. It's a track that lives in that space between longing and hope, perfect for late night drives, daydreaming moments, or hitting repeat when you're in your feels.
This song is part of a bigger story I'm telling with Karmic, exploring connection, love, and the lessons we carry. "Cali Dreaming" isn't just about missing someone. It's about holding on to the beauty of what once was, even when miles keep you apart.
