"Blue" is about the back and forth struggle of fighting depression. One minute you're up for the fight, the next minute you've accepted it as the way things will be. 

This track is the lead single from my forthcoming album, "Between Church & State." It features jazz trumpet star Chief Adjuah (formerly known as Christian Scott). "Blue" is about the up and down, back and forth struggle of battling depression and adversity. In this song, I've personified the color blue as the presence of depression, a presence will not go away easily, so much so that it seems possible that it will never leave. I hope this resonates with anyone that has dealt with this!
