"Next Move" is Rian Wyld’s  follow up single to  her recent viral diss track, “Comments", which ignited debate by directly challenging Timbaland’s endorsement of AI-generated music via platforms such as BeatClub as well as his unauthorized use of music by lesser-known talent. AllHipHop characterized the track as a bold statement on mentorship and authenticity in music. 

With “Next Move,” she not only provides updates to her fans on the situation with the celebrated producer, but she also takes the time to address critics, including veteran music executive Damizza for speaking about her in a recent podcast without knowing the full situation. In her own words: “As I say in my next single, ‘Next Move,’ bum boys hate to see a woman be a boss.”
