About The Release

This is the start of a new journey through my mind, artistry, and life. I grew up watching a lot of TV and movies. I mostly gravitated towards Sci-Fi, Adventure, and Thrillers. The themes of this album roll out are heavily inspired by these types of films and shows that I'd frequently watch, and still do. I wanted to find a new, creative way to express my thoughts and feelings through music while channeling some of the energy from the visual arts that I have been inspired by. Episode I of IV is for the people that still appreciate boom bap beats, story telling, cadences and flows. I wanted to focus on my ability to RAP on this first episode. I didn't care too much about offering a "hit" or "viral" record. I just wanted to get back to the basics of why I fell in love with Hip-Hop in the first place.
