About The Release
Talmiyd: I take the comparisons as a compliment but I sound like me, All Praise The Power of Progress. My sound is a tribute to the sounds I rock with from Hyphy, Midwest Fonk, Southern Hip Hop, and Afrobeat. I approach my music like prayer before the championship. Prayer is the most important part of that event. I also like the idea of beats being a canvas I paint on by the spirit. My content is boots on the block with it, but my faith is my motivation. Balms Over Babylon E.P is a passionate introduction of myself and this go time music. According to the science discipline is healing, and balms are used to heal. So the music is to motivate, to inspire progress, to heal, and encourage discipline through real experiences in a relatable way. We on go time for everything solid anything else is barbaric.
