About The Release
"A.M.90s.R&B is a lotus that blossomed out of mud that is the foundation of adversity of adaptation that needed to grow beyond the traumatic response attitude of questioning your own self worth and not knowing if you are valuable enough..." - Travis Gray PhD candidate This album is a testament on having conviction on making this come to fruition, with what seemed like endless challenges, hurdles and hoops life presented. Creating this project allowed me to discover latent talents that were laying dormant - creative styles, sounds, vibes, energies and frequencies of me making music. Evolving from being a singer/song writer to a creative that now wears additional [hats]. This is the first of me creating in my native/indigenous tongue. Please, enjoy a [lifetime] in the making, first project, A.M.90s.R&B vol.1 (Afrobeats Meets 90s R&B) All mixing/mastering and vocals done and performed by, TheArtist.
