My upcoming release, See You Again, is a tribute to my older brother, who passed away in 2023. He was my closest family member and played a huge role in shaping who I am—introducing me to music, guitar, fitness, and even cooking. He was my first mentor, always guiding and supporting me.
This song is about grief, love, and loss—because grieving is an extension of love. It’s a deeply personal piece that I wrote while in the thick of mourning, letting my emotions flow through the song. As a Christian, I hold onto the hope of seeing him again in heaven, and this song reflects that longing.
Choosing this song as my reintroduction to the world after not releasing music since 2020 wasn’t easy. It’s one of my most vulnerable pieces, and I wrestled with the idea of sharing something so personal. This release marks a new chapter in my journey—not just as an artist but as someone embracing both the highs and the painful truths of life.
